Rosemary Alves Cordeniz passed on from this life on January 1, 2024 to be our guardian angel, just 71 days after her husband Don of 53 years. Born on March 6, 1947 in Tulare, California Rosie was a beloved Wife, Sister, Deanie, Ming, Godmother, Aunt and Friend. She loved so many of us so deeply and gave endlessly of her time, talent and treasure, but most of all she loved the Lord and was a faithful servant her entire life. After getting married Rosie and Don moved to Pismo, California where she worked as a cosmetologist while putting Don through college. After college they returned to Tulare and she continued her work as a cosmetologist until not that long ago. She was a builder of memories and traditions while she wiped tears and helped heal so many of our hearts. She made the best fried chicken, strawberry pie, popcorn balls and persimmon cookies. Rosie gave the best hugs. She loved to dance, travel, and go to Zumba class, and never passed up an opportunity to dress up for Halloween. Rosie and Don were longtime volunteers at the World Ag Expo where she welcomed visitors from all over the world with her energetic smile and gentle heart. Rosie was a member of the Tulare Cabrillo Club #12 and was so honored to be the current president of the St. Aloysius Alter Society. Donations in Rosie’s honor can be made to her much-loved organization at: St. Aloysius Alter Society P.O. Box 644, Tulare, Ca 93275. We would like to express our endless gratitude to Rosie and Don’s wonderful care givers who cared for and loved them as much as we did while silently caring for us along the way as well.
