Donna Renee Martin, 64, from Tipton California, passed away on September 9th at Kaweah Health Hospital from complications related to Covid 19.
Donna Renee Lam was born in Hanford California on August 8, 1957 to Harold Dean Lam and Juanita LaVerne (Peterson) Geary. She graduated from Chandler High School in Chandler Arizona in 1975. She moved to California in 1980 where she soon after met and married the love of her life, Edward Allen Martin. Together, they share two beautiful children, Lindsey and Joshua.
Donna was a teacher (Medical Careers) for over 20 years, with her last position being held at Tulare Western High School. Donna was a devoted Wife and Mother. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved to travel with her husband and their three yorkies in their motorhome, visiting as many states as possible. She enjoyed the times spent at numerous car shows and events around the country with her husband Eddie and his Camaro. She had many hobbies that included crafting, quilting, sewing and embroidery. She was looking forward to retiring from the school district and pursuing her small business Vintage Girl Embroidery making various crafts for people. She is preceded in death by her father, Harold Dean Lam, her stepfather William Geary and Brother-in-law, Ronnie Brazell. Niece, Bryna Martin; Nephews, Timothy Martin and Jacob Gilbert. She is survived by her husband, Eddie Martin; their daughter Lindsey Martin and son Joshua Martin and his soon to be wife, Jennifer; Grandchildren, Kristian, Kameron, Kaedon (Lindsey) and Claire (Joshua and Jennifer); Mother, Juanita Geary; Sisters, Cindy Brazell, Debbie Gilbert (Doug), Carole Hudson; Brothers, Willie Geary (Alison) and Robert Geary (LaDonna); Brother’s in law, Tony Martin (Lucy), Dennis Martin (Filomena), James Martin (Brenda), David Martin, Richard Martin (Tammy); Sister in law, Christine Foreman (Kent); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Donna was an amazing woman, with an infectious smile. She was kind and giving and her life had such an impact on not only her students, but her friends and family as well. Her passing has left a hole in so many hearts. She will be truly missed!
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, 4-7 p.m. at Miller's Tulare Funeral Home, 151 North H Street, Tulare
Recitation of the Rosary and Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2021, 10:00 a.m. at St. John's Catholic Church, 232 Adams Road, Tipton, with burial at Tipton/Pixley Cemetery, 10395 Avenue 144, Tipton
